African NDT is always striving to find more ways to help our student, and the recent increase in VAT has provided us with just such an opportunity.

Times are tough, and this recent increase hasn’t helped at all.

Luckily we have a bit of good news for you! As a private customer of Andtc (e.g a student) Andtc will cover the increase in VAT for you. This means NO INCREASE IN COURSE FEES.

Andtc had an absolute blast at the Saint NDT conference!

The Saint conference was held on the 7th and 8th of February and had something for everyone. There were exhibitions from all over and of course we joined them by showing off the awesome things our training centre has to offer. Anything from discounted training courses to competitions to the live phased array of fish!

There was also a call to present research papers at the conference and we jumped at the opportunity. In total African NDT centre presented 4 papers and had a blast while doing it.

We had some Competitions for all to take part in, the prizes were big so we decided to have people compete with their actual NDT skills.
Congratulations to the winners of our Competitions:
Mr Rowlands Bhotha has won a UT level 3 course by drawing up his DAC in the quickest time
Mr Ivan le Roux won a RT level 3 course by interpreting the most RT films correctly in the shortest time.

All in all the Conference was a huge success and a great time was had by all who attended.

We are proud to announce that our sponsored PCN level 3 bursary has been awarded to a deserving recipient

ANDTc sponsored a Level 3 basic and a main method bursary at the inaugural ‘Woman in NDT day’, held last year. This was aimed at any lady whom has existing PCN level 2’s, whom wishes to further their studies and become a PCN Level 3. Through a tough selection process (adjudicated by SAINT council), finalists were identified and invited to a breakfast hosted by SAINT council, where the worthy winner was announced.

We are proud to congratulate Francesca van der Merwe! Francesca, has PCN Level 2’s in PT, MT, VT and UT and she has decided to chose UT as her first main method Level 3.

We look forward to seeing you in class soon and will be even more proud once you become a PCN Level 3!

Andtc is proud to announce that the COSAC training was a great success.

The training and examinations were carried out in a very professional manner by Joe Benardi from COSAC and the results prove that we have staff who are simply awesome.

Martha, Linda and Jelte passed their PT level 2
Moses and Sandra passed their RT level 1
Andrew passed his RT level 2
Kobus and Andre both are proud owners of a new level 3 in PT and Ut respectively
Wayne re certified his UT and PT Level 3

We are also happy to announce that we have some extra PCN level 3’s on the wall.

Evo passed his MT and UT
Garath Passed his MT, PT and UT.

All in all April was quite a busy week here at Andtc but the hard work paid off in the end.
