Women’s day celebrations

African NDT Centre celebrates Women’s Day

This year African NDT Centre took the opportunity to show appreciation for all the special women in the workplace by heading to Urban Bistro, a cozy eatery tucked away in Manhattan Office Park, for a Women’s Day “cake and tea”.

Seated outside, soaking up the winter morning sunshine, we indulged in scrumptious savoury bites served in the form of Mediterranean and Tapas Platters, accompanied by the finest selection of teas and coffees.

The highlight was being served delectable slices of shortbread-crusted vanilla chiffon cake, with mixed berry buttercream, topped with cheesecake truffles – it tasted even better than it looked!

Mouthwatering edibles, endless conversation (and laughter) among remarkable women – a morning well spent! ?

“It is in celebrating our commonalities, our differences and our individuality that we can support each other and prosper through respect and diversity.”

VAT Increase (good news)

By   April 3, 2018

African NDT is always striving to find more ways to help our student, and the recent increase in VAT has provided us with just such an opportunity.

Times are tough, and this recent increase hasn’t helped at all.

Luckily we have a bit of good news for you! As a private customer of Andtc (e.g a student) Andtc will cover the increase in VAT for you. This means NO INCREASE IN COURSE FEES.

Just another solution brought to you by the Andtc team.

Till next time

Saint NDT Conference

By   February 23, 2018

Andtc had an absolute blast at the Saint NDT conference!

The Saint conference was held on the 7th and 8th of February and had something for everyone. There were exhibitions from all over and of course we joined them by showing off the awesome things our training centre has to offer. Anything from discounted training courses to competitions to the live phased array of fish!

There was also a call to present research papers at the conference and we jumped at the opportunity. In total African NDT centre presented 4 papers and had a blast while doing it.

We had some Competitions for all to take part in, the prizes were big so we decided to have people compete with their actual NDT skills.
Congratulations to the winners of our Competitions:
Mr Rowlands Bhotha has won a UT level 3 course by drawing up his DAC in the quickest time
Mr Ivan le Roux won a RT level 3 course by interpreting the most RT films correctly in the shortest time.

All in all the Conference was a huge success and a great time was had by all who attended.

Looking forward to the next one SAINT.

Courses Planned for 2018

By   November 10, 2017

Its that time of the year again!

It seems that when we move to the end of the year, we move into silly season. Everyone wants to cram in as much as possible before Christmas and the world itself seems to be spinning faster which creates confusion and stresses us out.

But not at ANDTC.

Here we believe in planning ahead, and being prepared. We have scheduled our courses for next year already, so there is one less thing you have to worry about! Simply download the Courses below and give us a call. And the best is, if you book a course for next year and pay before the end of 2017, you will actually pay 2017 prices!!

We hope to hear from you soon.

Bursary Winner

By   May 30, 2017

We are proud to announce that our sponsored PCN level 3 bursary has been awarded to a deserving recipient

ANDTc sponsored a Level 3 basic and a main method bursary at the inaugural ‘Woman in NDT day’, held last year. This was aimed at any lady whom has existing PCN level 2’s, whom wishes to further their studies and become a PCN Level 3. Through a tough selection process (adjudicated by SAINT council), finalists were identified and invited to a breakfast hosted by SAINT council, where the worthy winner was announced.

We are proud to congratulate Francesca van der Merwe! Francesca, has PCN Level 2’s in PT, MT, VT and UT and she has decided to chose UT as her first main method Level 3.

We look forward to seeing you in class soon and will be even more proud once you become a PCN Level 3!

Andrew passed his RT level 2
Kobus and Andre both are proud owners of a new level 3 in PT and Ut respectively
Wayne re certified his UT and PT Level 3

We are also happy to announce that we have some extra PCN level 3’s on the wall.

Evo passed his MT and UT
Garath Passed his MT, PT and UT.

All in all April was quite a busy week here at Andtc but the hard work paid off in the end.

Happy Training

Andtc’s New Website

By   May 2, 2017

We are excited to announce our new website!

We have spent a good amount of hours working on this project and think it turned out great. Changes have been made to our menus, and the site is now fully mobile and tablet compatible. Much of our content as been restructured so as to put more information available to our users.

We have added more information, we have spruced up the look and feel, we have created a nice look and feel and simplified much of the more complex functions. We did keep all the important stuff though, just added more and streamlined some. If you need one of our official documents, have a look at our document downloads page, if you want to contact us, you can either find us on the contact us page or send us an inquiry through the contact form.

We have a brand new page under the about us drop-down menu which introduces the Andtc team.

Please have a look and tell us what you guys think.

Happy inspecting.
